Thank you so much for helping me!
after running all the programs on safe mode, all the programs said they couldn't find anything affected, but on FixVundo, it said it could not scan "Winlogon plugins."
I still can't run some of the software on my laptop, so I'm entirely not sure now if the Vundo trojan is gone, or maybe isn't Vundo's fault at all. :/

Just like a boat. Stand at the back of the car, (the end with the red lights.) Sorry about that I couldn't resist it. The right side is the on your right hand.

Gotta agree, companies that use peoples lack of knowing any better to get someones money just plain suck. AVG works really well on most PC's. And the three rules at the end make sense - common sense actually. Nice post.

I had a similar problem with a Dell PC. They use a fan that speeds up and slows down depending on how hot the cpu is. Mine did the same thing - every time the fan would speed up, it would make a grinding sound then stop, over and over again. I brought it to Geek Squad, they opened it up, sprayed out all the dust, took the fan out and blew it out with compressed air until it moved by itself. It's been fine since. Geek Squad (never again) charged me $60 to do this. A $5 can of air was all it took.

I got one of these a few weeks ago, it's nice. It does everything I need it to do for my nursing classes. I was going to get one of the Apple tablets, but I really don't like Apple much, they try to tell you what you like with their products. I already have an Android phone, which I love, so his tablet made sense. I really like it, best gadget I've bought for under $300 in a long time (they're about $200 now I guess).

i have th samsung 3160 (the 3175s little brother), basically the same as the 3175 minus some features. I get about 2000 pages on 1 black toner (printing text), they really do last alot longer. every once in a while you'll have to take the toners out and give them a shake (its a powder ink and it will settle if not used for a while). ive seen a commercial on tv where they do it and try to say it neds new toner - not so, toners have always been that way, unless you like in a dessert (no moisture). copiers do the same thing. anyways, i'd say thumbs up on the 3175, i really like mine.

I've used the speakeasy speed test and also http://www.mydslspeedtest.com to identify my broadband speed.

I think it's important to use more than one speed test for results comparison.
